The 3 phases in House of Hope
PHASE 1
9 Month
Supported Training or Workshop Programme
Continuous development of professional competencies.
STAGE 1: Probation
An evaluation to assess the basic skills of individuals with special needs, under the guidance of a registered academic partner.
STAGE 1.2: PIP*
If there is a need to extend the probation period, individuals with special needs will be included in the PIP program for a maximum of 3 months.
*PIP stands for Performance
Improvement Plan
STAGE 2: Permanent
An evaluation to assess the behavior and professionalism of individuals with special needs through varied and tailored trainings.
X IF FAIL PHASE 1
They are unable to remain at House of Hope. However, their application could be reconsidered if there are still openings available in the future.
PHASE 2
3-12 Month
Intership or Experiental Learning
A real-world exposure related to their field of interest.
STAGE 3: Job opportunities with Professional Partners
Internship opportunities with Professional Partners. A firsthand experience for individuals with special needs in a company or partner collaborating with House of Hope.
X IF FAIL PHASE 2
They cannot return to House of Hope, but if there are any available opportunities, House of Hope will help them connect with other partners.
PHASE 3
Other Service
Provision of assistance if needed.
FUTURE STAGE A: Talent Acquisition
In this stage, the relevant partners determine all arrangements, and take full responsibility for the individuals with special needs.
FUTURE STAGE B: Part-Time Internship
Individuals with special needs receive advanced training at partner’s or House of Hope’s location, and they are under the responsibility of House of Hope and related partners.
